TradeStation Group Reports Monthly Business Metrics

Plantation FL, January 11, 2010 - TradeStation Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: TRAD) today reported the following business metrics for the month ended January 31, 2010:

  • 83,802 Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs)
  • Total client assets of $2.1 billion (as of January 31, 2010)
  • Average equities client credit balances of $863 million
  • Average equities client margin balances of $48 million

Year over year, TradeStation’s DARTs decreased 18%, total client assets increased 28%, average equities client credit balances increased 29%, and average equities client margin balances increased 60%.   Below in tabular format are year-over-year comparisons of those metrics on both a monthly and quarterly basis:
