TradeStation Group Reports Monthly Business Metrics

Plantation FL, September 2, 2010 - TradeStation Group, Inc. (NASDAQ GS: TRAD) today reported the following business metrics for the month ended August 31, 2010:

  • 73,847 Daily Average Revenue Trades (DARTs)
  • Total client assets of $2.2 billion (as of August 31, 2010)
  • Average equities client credit balances of $919 million
  • Average equities client margin balances of $56 million

Year over year, TradeStation's DARTs decreased 4%, total client assets increased 14%, average equities client credit balances increased 10%, and average equities client margin balances increased 56%. Below in tabular format are year-over-year comparisons of those metrics on both a monthly and quarterly basis:
